From Work to Christmas Party in one easy step...

The Festive Season is here and the Christmas Parties are stacking up!

The easiest way to go from desk to dancefloor is with a quick lip fix. Bright Lips are hot for summer and dresses up any outfit. My favourite go to colours at the moment are, Vegas Volt - MAC, Impassioned- MAC, Lady Danger - MAC, Girl About Town - MAC, Strawberry Suede - Revlon, Red Squared - NARS, Blazing Red 638 - Dior

My hot tips for a 5 minute refresh are:

- Start the day with simple and natural eyes. This will help save time later when you add your bright lip
- After work remove foundation with a face wipe, leaving on eye makeup
- Moisturise and re-apply foundation
- Add Bronzer all over face and blush to the apples for an added a glow
- Then apply your favourite shade of Bright Lipstick

You are now ready to rock your christmas party in under 5 minutes! Just dont get too drunk and hit on your boss!

Sunkissed For Summer!!

Summer is nearly here so lets get BRONZED and enjoy the heat! My favourite look for summer is a natural sunkissed makeup. To achieve this you will need a good bronzer and because there are so many on the market I have narrowed it down to a few favourites I like based on trial and error, I will give you the option of most expensive to cheapest, ranging from $11.95 to $132.00.

Favourite Product of the Week!! Nars Hanamichi Eyeshadow Palette

NARS interprets the dramatic kabuki eye with a modern and magnificent palette of high-impact, richly saturated hues for highlighting, shading and lining the eye. Accompanied by a hand-spun wisteria-wrapped kabuki eye brush and encased in an elegant pouch. This Palette is so versatile that I am also using the white as an illuminator for the cheek bone, you can use your finger and rub gently onto the skin. The pink can be used as a blush, it looks amazing on darker skin tones. Its limited edition and my new favourite product of the week! Hanamichi Eyeshadow Palette

Latest and Greatest: Kevin Murphy Colour Bug!!

It been out for a couple of months now, Kevin Murphy's Colour Bug is awesome!! You might have seen the latest trend in hair is colour tipping. Well this product will help you achieve it without a costly trip to the salon. It washes out at the next shampoo, and comes in a range of coulours to suit your hair and individual style.

Step One: Place a towel around your shoulders to protect your clothes from possible spillage. I didnt read the instructions first and got it all over my friends top. It did come out but just in case.

Step Two : There are 2 ways to apply to the hair. Now if you are putting on bleached pourous hair it could grab so its best to put a leave in conditioner to act as a barrier so it wont stain the hair. Just spray the leave in conditioner where you want the colour to go, and gently rub the colour bug of choice into the hair. The more you put in the more intense the colour. On darker hair you wont need to put the leave in conditioner in. Make sure you spray the hair with hairspray to seal it.

It comes in 3 colours Pink, Orange and Purple. The Pink is quite vibrant in both dark and light coloured hair. Where as the orange looks natural in dark hair. Have fun experiment, mix it up, use all three at once!! It retails at $24.95 and its worth every penny!! Loving Kevin Murphy Colour Bug

On Trend: Loving the Ponytail!!

I am loving the Ponytail at the moment! There are so many ways to wear a ponytail, depending on your hair length and condition. Create a ponytail to suit your mood and individual style. One of my favourites is slick pony with a messy tail. You will need a few things before you start. Tail comb, Hairdryer, 2 round brushes, Elastics, Thermal setting lotion, depending on hair condition, some Moroccan Oil, Section clips, and some Hairspray. I think the ponytail works best when you have prepped the hair first, so a bouncy blow wave works best for this look. Start with freshly washed hair and spray thermal setting lotion or Moroccan Oil into the hair. Divide into small sections and using the round brushes blow wave each section and leave the brush in as long as possible. Blow wave all the hair and when at the top make sure your blow waving fringe area back, so it is easier to slick down.

Using the Tail comb brush the hair straight back, using the hairspray to keep it tight to the head. Spray and comb till its evenly slick. Put the hair tye in at whatever height you want it, and make sure its tight. The ends should be flicky and the pony should be slick. Its hard to explain how to do a ponytail, but the best part it there are no rules. This is just a guide line to help you.
